Thank You Film Awards

Educational Video

We were very fortunate to be asked to be on the voting panel of the inaugural  Thank You Film Awards, an award program designed to get children and young teenagers into film making by creating a short piece focussed on the theme of gratitude.

For the awards, Birmingham University wanted to create a short informative film that could be sent out to everyone looking to compete with some useful tips on how to, and how not to, create a successful film.

Our approach was to deliver a series of 8 short, fun animations with a couple of characterful, animated robots called ‘do’ and ‘don’t’ as the protagonists. A series of 8 numbered chalkboard style holding cards, which could be delivered separately as a pdf document, introduce the clips, which we hope will prove to be engaging and informative to our younger audience.

I guess the proof will be in the quality of this years entries. Roll on award season!
